This is a useful certification program that enables you to work in Offshore and also onshore work, and also work in Oil Rig/platform, hotel and restaurants as a specialist chef or cook, specializing in Indian, continental and Chinese cuisine. You will get to learn the various preparations that are popular with each one of them. Indian Food like, Chicken Kasa, Maton Kasa, Dal Makhani, Patato Chips, Pallo, Sweet dish (Gulab Jaman) on one hand you will be learning to prepare sambhar, Edli, Dosa, Boda, stuffed parathas etc. Chinese: various type of soups, various starters, main course to desserts, you will learn them all., biryanis, various type of paneer preparations and on the other you will be learning about preparing Chinese and continental dishes like chili chicken, Fried Rice, Mixed Fried Rice, Hakka noodles, spring rolls, sandwiches, custards, puddings, various type of cake and pestryand so on. Most of these courses are of short duration ranging a few months. The courses are available in a number of hotel management and catering institutes spread across the country.
